Muses are nine inspirational goddesses, who symbolize literature, science and arts in Greek Mythology. They are daughters of Zeus and Titaness Mnemosyne, goddess of memory.
Clio (pronounced as Kleiṓ) is the muse of history. The name is etymologically derived from the Greek root κλέω/κλείω (meaning “to recount,” “to make famous,” or “to celebrate”). She is often depicted to wear a daphne-wreath, holding a trumpet, a book and an hourglass denoting the true chronological order of historical facts.
